Jusqu’au 7 Octobre les Hôtels du Faubourg Saint Germain vous encouragent à vous rendre à la Maison des Amériques, au 3 Rue Cassette dans le 6ème arrondissement, afin de vous émerveiller sur des clichés inédits de Marilyn Monroe.
Ces images uniques sont signées Ed Feingersh qui a suivi la célèbre actrice dans le tout New-York en 1955. Photographiée loin des studios, à la lumière naturelle et « disponible », les photos n’en sont que plus déroutantes, n'enlevant absolument rien à la beauté du personnage, égérie de son époque.
Le photographe mourut un an avant Marilyn Monroe, les clichés qu’il avait réalisé furent oubliés et retrouvés un jour de 1987, dans un vieux hangar de Brooklyn.

The photographer died a year before Marilyn Monroe did, the pictures he had achieved were forgotten until one day in 1987 when they were found in an oldwarehouse in Brooklyn.
