Du 15 au 29 Mai 2011, rendez-vous avec les Hôtels du Faubourg Saint Germain au Festival de Jazz de Saint Germain des Près qui entrera dans sa deuxième décennie !!
De nombreux concerts uniques et exceptionnels auront lieu, des rencontres entre artistes, des expositions, de nouveaux talents à découvrir !!
Depuis maintenant plus de 10 ans ce Festival exceptionnel rythme le quartier mythique, tout en alliant musique de haut vol et lieux d’exception.
A L’honneur cette année, au cœur de l’emblématique Église Saint-Germain-des-Prés, deux concerts exceptionnels : Jean-François Zygel et Antoine Hervé, parrains de cette édition, offriront un unique duo d’improvisation à l’occasion de la sortie de leur album "Double messieurs", puis Jean-Jacques Milteau et les Palata Singers se rencontreront pour un concert-création de blues-gospel.
La photographie sera aussi de nouveau mise à l’honneur par deux expositions : "Ray Charles et Serge Gainsbourg : histoire de musiciens" par Arlette Kotchounian à l'Hôtel Lutetia, et "Le Jazz au bout des doigts" par Sophie Le Roux à l'Hôtel Madison.

Point of interest this year, in the heart of the iconic church Saint-Germain-des-Prés, two special concerts: Jean-François and Antoine Hervé Zygel, sponsors of this edition will offer a unique duo improvisation on the occasion of the release of their album "Double gentlemen" and Jean-Jacques Milteau Palata and Singers will meet to create a concert of blues-gospel.
The photography will also be in the spotlight again with two exhibitions: "Ray Charles and Serge Gainsbourg: history of musicians" by Arlette Kotchounian at the Hotel Lutetia, and "Jazz at Your Fingertips" by Sophie Le Roux to Hotel Madison.
